A neighbourhood hair salon in Carrús
Peluquero Santana is a unisex hair salon at Calle José Díez Mora, 26, in the Carrús neighbourhood of Elche, next to Plaza de Madrid and a few minutes' walk from Plaza Barcelona and El Toscar. I'm Alex, the hairdresser behind the name. I've been in these same premises for more than 16 years.
I cut hair for women, men and children, and I do colour, highlights, keratin and collagen straightening, beard trims and shaves. I work with professional FarmaVita products, which I also sell, and I'll advise you on looking after your hair at home so the result lasts.
Open Tuesday to Saturday. You can book on WhatsApp or by phone, or just drop in and I'll see you if there's a free slot. On Wednesdays, pensioner haircuts are €7.

Do I need an appointment?
You can come without one, but there isn't always a free slot. The quickest way is to send me a WhatsApp and I'll tell you straight away if I can see you today.
How much is a men's haircut?
A men's haircut costs €12, with wash and styling included. A beard trim is €4 and a shave is €8.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes. A child's haircut costs €7. For under-14s, a parent or legal guardian must book the appointment and give the details.
Is there a special price for pensioners?
Yes, the pensioner haircut costs €7 and is done on Wednesdays.
How do I know if my hair is short, medium or long?
Women's services have three prices depending on hair length. If you're not sure which applies to you, send me a photo on WhatsApp and I'll tell you the exact price before you come.
Do you do keratin and collagen straightening?
Yes, I do both keratin straightening and collagen straightening. Keratin costs €60 to €80 and collagen €27 to €33, depending on hair length. If you can't decide between them, I'll advise you before we start.
Do you sell shampoo and hair products?
Yes. I work with professional FarmaVita products, made in Italy, and I sell them too: shampoos and products for looking after coloured, highlighted or straightened hair at home. I'll recommend the one that suits your hair best.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, all published prices are in euros and include VAT. If a job needs more product or more time than expected, I'll tell you and agree it with you before starting.
Are you open on Mondays?
No, it's closed on Mondays. Open Tuesday to Saturday; the full opening hours are in the section on how to get here.
